I didn't write in quite some time and I sure I'll soon get a call in which someone will complain about that fact, so before it comes to this, I write.
I had one of the most awesome weekends aka short trips with my family. I do love spending time with them and family vacations are one of my favorite past times. We eat way too much (I got ice cream - twice!), visit beautiful places, I get to play "I dare you" with Martin (I lost this time *sighs*) and overall we just have a good time. Did I mention that we swam each evening (with the amount of stuff we eat it was a good way to balance)? And we went to see the Jagdschloss Granitz again, whose tower was designed by Schinkel ... gotta love it.
I'm still very much in love with everything involving Inkworld (especially Mo ... I'm so gonna blame this on Sarah and Isi) and I can't wait for Christmas to read Tintentod. I tried to get a peek into the last book today, but unfortunately every single copy was still shrink-wraped in the book store. Arghh. Somebody is out to drive me crazy. At least now, with having the second book finished, I know that Mo did survive ... which means now I can worry about him becoming the Eichelhäher ... I'm so gonna curse Fenoglio if Mo loses himself and his sweet and caring personality.
I watched a rerun of Grey's Anatomy yesterday evening and it left me crying. Why the heck do I watch the episode in which they kill Denny? Why? Anyway, I'm pretty much in denial when it comes to the whole "he's dead"-thing. In my perfect little world, he marries Izzie and lives happily ever after. What do you mean I need to get hit over the head to get in the real world?
Today Dr. Garbe made us do the evaluation for his seminar on different religious groups and I stared for a whole minute at the section where we could write down things which were bad and should be improved. It's one of my most interesting seminars and I couldn't find anything bad about it ... so I left it blank.
In our Star Trek seminar we watched an episode of the original series and it was hilarious! The way they moved! The special effects! The story! Wonderful. I'm just glad that they got picked up for another season and then the movies so finally I could watch DS9.
And because it was an overall nice and pleasant week, here the seal you're all waiting for:
