I thought it's time to write something again and since I feel like writing in English I'll just do it.
Saturday we (Jens, Gocker, Martin and me) drove to "Heidepark Soltau" and it was one of the best.day.ever. I had so much fun and nearly laughed my head off several times. The guys together are really hilarious, especially if they get wet. Good thing we made Jens sit in the front of the trunk the second time we made a white water raft, so he got soaked and I went away unscathed. Contrary to the first time with the round boat when my left side got drenched. Thankfully we had nice weather and I didn't get cold.
Apart from the white water stuff we took the "Grottenblitz" three times since it was one of the few roller coasters which didn't have any loopings or looked scray just from the outside. Funny thing is that the "Grottenblitz" goes through a cave and we passed this cave two more times in other rides. One time was with the monorail and the other during our peaceful boat trip. That's what I call maximum utilization.
I'll never ever take the "Schweizer Bobbahn" again. Looks pretty moderate from the outside, but the thing is, you don't see the tunnel before you enter it. And it wasn't like the cave, which was somewhat illuminated, no, it was pitch black. Really dark. Absolutely nothing to see. Now try to image seeing nothing while you ride a slide with 5o km/h in a curve. Yeah, really nice feeling. We got a photo of Gocker and me taken after leaving the tunnel. He looks pretty excited whereas I look like I don't know what hit me.
While eating my favorite ice cream (no, it's not chocolate!) someone tipped on my left shoulder. Naturally I thought it's Martin and turned to my right side since he pulled that trick on me a thousand times. Surprise, surprise, it wasn't him, but a pig. Right, one of the mascots of the park got the better of me and walked away before I knew what had happened. Stupid pig. I don't like pigs. Blah.
The ride I liked the most was the one where you just sit and the wagon moves and the platform it's on moves, too. It's a cool feeling (and you see everything), even if I walked a little bit funny afterwards ;)
After a long, funny day we drove home and Martin, Jens and me played poker. We played it the day before but as expected I lost to Jens after we kicked Martin out of the game. Saturday it was the same, only this time Martin and I were in the heads up. I fully ecpected to loose again but suddenly I was chip leader and some minutes later I had won. I've never ever have won a poker game before, so I took pictures to prove it for coming generations. I will post them some time in the future when I got my laptop connected to the internet again.
Since now I'm earning a little bit money I thought I could buy the second half of the first season of Supernatural (with getting the second season in october as a prize it would have completed my collection), well ... I saw the price and had two thoughts: 1. I have awesome friends and 2. I better buy something else. Gosh, they expected me to pay over 5o € for the import dvd box.! I love Supernatural, but I love my vacation in the USA next year more. So, I decided to buy the Supernatural Book of monters (handy for research and it only costs about 1o €). Tuesday or Wednesday it wil come with what Martin has ordered (and technically it's still his, but I doubt he will dive into it with as much enthusiasm as I will).
Isi texted me over icq and it seems like ReGenesis will be released on dvd in october. I think I will get this myself as Christmas present. Yep, sounds like a plan to me. Isi also asked where she can see if her story for the Summer Fic Exchange is done and it turns out hers is already written. Next thing she wrote is that my wish (she's assigned to write for me) is stupid and she doesn't know how to do it. I think the universe is slightly unfair in this matter ... but I'll see how that one turns out (and I really, really, really need to start writing my assingment).
Now I have to admit that I started watching The O.C. (and yes, Ryan totally looks like Dean, Isi, just look!). I don't know why or how, I just started and I admit I like it even. There are only two episodes left until the series finale, so it's not like I will get hooked for a longer time and I have absolutely no desire to watch the other seasons. I never liked the actress who played Marissa. Which brings me to the actress who plays Isabelle in 44oo (Attention! Spoiler!) but no longer. Apparently the character died in the season finale last night. Can't say I'm sorry to see her go. Stupid girl first wanted to marry Shawn (irk) and then got him into a coma ... not to mention she was the totally wrong person on Shawn's side.
I think I got everything covered I wanted to say ... if not, there is plenty of space to write new entries.
