News from Lazyland

I did nothing today, but sleep in, wash the dishes, make salad and watch "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" (click the link and take a guess as to why I watch that) ... it's sooo nice to finally have nothing to do for Latin. I also managed to require yet another scratch on my hand - this time in my thumb. It hurts and I have no idea whatsoever how I got it. Do I have an invisible cat somewhere in my room?

In other news, I spent a wonderful day watching all three(!) extended versions of Lord of the Rings with leviathans_moon yesterday. It took us about 11 hours and it was so much fun. I kinda drooled over Karl Urban's voice of all things the whole time (and isn't that cool? That everytime I watch LotR I find someone new to cheer for), and of course we spilled some tears towards the ending. It will never be any less bittersweet. *le sigh* Yet we had much fun appointing "stupidity-points" to the Hobbits and they have a final score of 1o (it was 1o, right?) stupid things they did. In a year or so we will rewatch the movies and watch for the Orcs' stupidity (and I have the feeling they will gather even more points)

^^, yep, ten it was. I had a great time yesterday, we can definitely do that again. oh, and I watched the "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard"-Rap. it's stupidly hilarious.
PS: I think I need a LOTR-icon now.
